Chief Executive Officer
The Government in Revenue & Forest Department has created the post of Chief Executive Officer Vide its Resolution No. WKF-10/2000/CR-220(PART-I)L-3 Dated 28/3/2002, in the cadre of Dy. Secretary/Additional Collector and his Pay & Allowances & T.A. etc. are paid by the State Government. Accordingly the Government had appointed following Chief Executive Officer of the Maharashtra State Board of Waqfs.

Staff of the Waqf Board, Which was appointed by the then Marathwada Waqf Board, is still working as a staff of Maharashtra State Waqf Board. After the enforcement of the Waqf Act, 1995 and establishment of the Maharashtra State Board of Waqfs, no separate or additional Staff has been appointed by the Existing Maharashtra State Board of Waqfs. The existing staff is working.
Maharashtra State Board of Waqfs has decided to appoint the New Additional Staff (out side Marathwada) for the State of Maharashtra. Detailed Proposal for entire state is under consideration of Government.
